Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion directly from within your app at any time. Follow the steps below for your app, or email us and we will handle it for you.

For barbers

My Barber Expo

If you have a barber, barbershop, or professional account on the My Barber Expo app, follow these steps to delete your account:

  1. 1Open the My Barber Expo app on your device.
  2. 2Log in to your account if you are not already signed in.
  3. 3Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
  4. 4Tap Settings.
  5. 5Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  6. 6Read the confirmation message, then confirm that you want to delete your account.

For clients

My Barber

If you have a client account on the My Barber app, follow these steps to delete your account:

  1. 1Open the My Barber app on your device.
  2. 2Log in to your account if you are not already signed in.
  3. 3Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
  4. 4Tap Delete Account.
  5. 5Read the confirmation message, then confirm that you want to delete your account.

90-Day Retention Period

When you request account deletion, your account is immediately deactivated and set to an inactive state. Your data is kept for 90 days from the date of your deletion request.

  • During the 90-day window your account is inactive and not visible to other users, but you may reactivate it by logging back in.
  • After 90 days have passed, your account and all associated personal data are permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems.

What Happens to Your Data

Deleted after 90 days

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and profile information
  • Profile photos and portfolio images you uploaded
  • Booking history and appointment records
  • Reviews and ratings associated with your account
  • In-app messages and communication history
  • Preferences, saved settings, and notification history

May be retained longer

  • Financial transaction records required by applicable tax or accounting law
  • Records needed to resolve an open dispute, chargeback, or legal matter
  • Aggregated or anonymised analytics that cannot identify you personally

Before You Delete

Deletion is permanent once the 90-day inactive period ends. Please note:

  • You will lose access to your booking history, messages, and profile immediately upon deletion.
  • If you are a barber, your public profile and availability will be removed for clients right away.
  • Any active subscriptions or paid features should be cancelled before requesting deletion.
  • You can reactivate your account by logging in at any point during the 90-day inactive window.

Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access the app or prefer to submit your request by email, you can contact us directly and we will process the deletion on your behalf.

Please send your request from the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity. Include your full name and the app you used (My Barber Expo for barbers, or My Barber for clients).
